Curzútt & Ponte Tibetano Carasc are a perfect destination in Ticino for anyone wanting to combine panoramic views, history and a little adventure. From the valley near Monte Carasso, you can easily reach the stone mountain village of Curzútt by taking the small Monte Carasso–Mornera cable car (Curzútt intermediate station). From there, it is about a 45–60-minute walk to the suspension bridge. The Ponte Tibetano Carasc is 270 m long and hangs around 130 m above the stream – crossing it opens up spectacular views of the rugged gorge. The combination with the Church of San Barnárd (about 15 minutes from Curzútt) and the Via delle Vigne, which passes through a culturally fascinating landscape, is particularly beautiful. Overall, this makes for a varied circular hike with forest sections, viewpoints and plenty of photo opportunities – ideal as a half-day trip from Bellinzona
