Grotto Pescatori is a typical Ticino grotto in Giornico, the pearl of the Leventina. Its location directly above the Ticino River, with its small bathing beach, makes Pescatori a magical place. Pescatori has 50 outdoor seats and 20 indoor seats and is a wonderful place to escape the summer heat by the river, beneath vines and trees, cool off in the crystal-clear Ticino and celebrate with friends and family while raising a glass to life at sunset.

Closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday evening. In May, Grotto Pescatori is also closed on Wednesdays. The grotto is open from May to the end of September. This year, we will close after lunch on Sat. 27.9.25.
