Goldau Nature and Animal Park lies in a wild and romantic landscape shaped by the Goldau landslide and is ideal for an outing in Central Switzerland’s natural surroundings. Around 100 native and European wildlife species live here across approximately 42 hectares – from lynx and bearded vultures to European bison, wolves and bears.

A particular highlight is the shared bear and wolf enclosure, where the animals can often be observed very well.

In the free-roaming zone, you can get very close to some of the animals – feeding is permitted, but only with the special animal park food (while supplies last).

The park is open 365 days a year (from 9 a.m.; depending on the season, until 5 or 6 p.m.).
Convenient for getting there: Arth-Goldau station is only about 400 metres on foot from the entrance.
Good to know when planning your visit: dogs are not allowed in the animal park, but there are lovely picnic and barbecue areas throughout the grounds.
