The Schynige Platte Railway (SPB) runs from Wilderswil to Schynige Platte. Along the 7.3-kilometre cog railway, it climbs 1,420 metres in altitude. The diversity of nature along the way is impressive: forests, alpine meadows and magnificent views of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. As the train travels towards the mountain station, passengers enjoy unobstructed views of the trio of peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Schynige Platte is positioned under the «Top of Swiss Tradition» brand. The «Swiss Flower & Panorama Trail» with photo points, a treasure hunt featuring Lily the cow as its mascot, and the wooden playground with regional motifs reinforce its Swiss positioning.
