Vufflens-le-Château is a small village in the canton of Vaud, surrounded by vineyards and just around 3 km north of Morges. The fairytale-like Vufflens Castle stands out from afar, with its majestic donjon (around 60 m high).

The castle was built of stone in the 15th century and is considered a landmark of the region. It is privately owned and therefore normally can be admired only from the outside – but the views from the vineyards are particularly photogenic.

A short walk (around 30 minutes) through the vineyards leads to beautiful viewpoints of the castle and the surrounding landscape. Conveniently, the village can also be reached by train, including via the Bière–Apples–Morges (BAM) line.

It is therefore ideal for a leisurely half-day with vineyard charm, photo stops and a side trip to Morges on Lake Geneva.
