Guests have been staying at Hotel Rosenlaui since 1771, and every corner of the hotel is steeped in its rich history. The older part of the building was constructed in 1862 after a fire and houses the dining room and bedrooms. The salons, restaurant and further bedrooms are located in the Belle Époque hotel dating from 1905.
Situated at 1330 m above sea level amid a ruggedly romantic mountain landscape and far from all luxurious modernity, the hotel continues to offer mountain holidays in beautiful yet simple surroundings. The rooms are in their original condition and do not have showers/WCs. Sanitary facilities are located on every floor.
In the atmospheric salons, you will find books, games and plenty of space for conversation – but no television, radio or internet connection (limited mobile reception). In the hotel’s public areas, we maintain a photo- & smartphone-free zone.
In the evening, our hotel guests enjoy dinner in the hotel’s atmospheric rooms in a traditional setting – on Tuesdays accompanied by Alpine culture. Hotel Rosenlaui serves fresh, flavourful Alpine cuisine featuring many local products. At our breakfast buffet, guests can enjoy delicacies from the passionate dairy farmers of the Rosenlaui Valley. Milk, butter, cream and cheese from the surrounding Alps are also the most important ingredients in our kitchen. (We cannot recommend a stay at the hotel in good conscience to people with lactose intolerance or to vegans.)
